Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a fresa anular que incluye una porción de cuerpo dotada de una pluralidad de dientes separados circunferencialmente alrededor de su extremidad inferior y de una pluralidad de acanaladuras que se extienden hacia arriba en la periferia exterior de dicha porción de cuerpo entre dichos dientes, estando definidas dichas acanaladuras por unas paredes laterales delantera y posterior y una pared de fondo, estando configurados dichos dientes para cortar una pluralidad de virutas que, al ser cortadas, penetran en dichas acanaladuras y son descargadas; teniendo dichos dientes por lo menos unos primero y segundo filos de corte delantero y posterior separados generalmente en sentido radial y circunferencial por dicha pared de fondo de dicha acanaladura adyacente de modo que dicho primer filo de corte se sitúe delante de dicho segundo filo de corte durante la rotación de dicha fresa, cortando cada filo de corte una viruta separada, teniendo dichas virutas, al ser cortadas, una anchura radial igual por lo menos a la anchura radial de dichos respectivos filos de corte; y un espacio libre radial dispuesto radialmente en una posición generalmente adyacente a dicho segundo filo de corte que comunica con dicha acanaladura adyacente que recibe una parte de la anchura radial de dicha viruta al ser formada dicha viruta por dicho filo de corte posterior, lo que facilita la penetración no obstaculizada de dicha viruta en dicha acanaladura adyacente.
