Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para elevar el octano de una alimentación de hidrocarburo que contiene compuestos de hidrocarburo normales y pentano y hexano normales, caracterizado porque comprende: a) hacer pasar la alimentación de hidrocarburo a una sección de adsorción que contiene un lecho adsorbedor para adsorber los hidrocarburos normales de la alimentación y para dejar pasar los hidrocarburos no normales fuera de la sección de adsorción, como efluente de adsorbedor; b) hacer pasar gas de purga a través del lecho adsorbedor que contiene hidrocarburos normales adsorbidos, para producir un efluente de adsorción que comprende gas de purga e hidrocarburos normales; c) hacer pasar el efluente de desorción através de un reactor de isomerización para producir un efluente de reación que comprende gas de purga y producto de hidrocarburo de reactor que comprende hidrocarburos no normales y normales; d) combinar por lo menos una porción de la corriente de producto de reactor con el efluente adsorbedor para formar una corriente de producto enriquecido de octano, que comprende hidrocarburos normales y no normales; y e) separar y recircular el gas de purga a la sección de adsorción
