Abstract

The invention relates to devices and processes for separating homogeneous liquid mixtures, containing low-boiling and high-boiling fractions, and can be used in the food industry for the separation of water-alcohol mixtures, wine-making and beverage production, chemical and petroleum-refining industries, as well as in the production of bioethanol.The device and process for separating a liquid homogeneous mixture comprise a rotating device (17) for creation of a rotational motion of the liquid mixture with a liquid mixture inlet channel (18), with a low-boiling fraction outlet system and with a high-boiling fraction outlet channel (19). The device (17) comprises a housing (20) having a cylindrical working cavity with a cover (28) and a vertical shaft (21), equipped with a rotor (22) with cross blades. The size of the gap between the housing (20) and the blades is selected so as to provide a swirling flow of the preheated liquid mixture against the inner wall of the housing (20). The low-boiling fraction outlet system comprises a channel (25), made in the upper part of the shaft (21) with at least two inlet holes (26), located between the blades, and connected to a low-boiling fraction outlet nozzle (27), fixed in the cover (28) of the housing (20).
