Abstract

The invention relates to agriculture, namely to a device for sterilization and virus infection of insect pests.The device, according to the invention, comprises a body (7), on which are installed in the upper part an electric power supply (2) and a photorelay (8), and the middle part an ultraviolet radiation source (1) with a wavelength of 365 nm and reflecting screens (3), under which is installed an insect collector (4) connected to a vertically placed removable container (5) of cylindrical shape. Inside the container (5) at the bottom are radially mounted at an angle of 60° relative to one another arched partitions (9) and in the lateral wall are mounted insect removal fittings (6) on the inner surface of which are placed soft hair brushes.
