Abstract

The invention relates to the field of environmental protection, in particular to devices for ionization of air, fuel and exhaust gases.The gas ionization device comprises a hollow cylindrical body made of metal, the inner surface of which is coated with a layer of electroinsulating material, a gas guide, fixed at the gas feed end of the body, a carcass, formed of four plates of electroinsulating material, arranged in the body parallel to its axis, forming in section a square and being fixed on one side thereof with a disk, and on the other side - with a washer. The device also comprises a high-voltage electrode and a ground electrode, made in the form of metal wires, each wire being wound on the carcass so that each turn of one wire is alternated with the turn of another wire at a constant distance.
