Abstract

The invention relates to the nondestructive testing and may be applied for the ultrasonic testing of the welds. The purpose of the invention consists in increasing the testing noise immunity at its fast speeds.Method for ultrasonic testing and its variants consists in the fact, that the ultrasonic vibrations are excitated in the inspected article by the help of two transducers 1 and 2 disposed in turn on the both sides of the weld in a definite time interval, the return and the shady signals are accepted, the time intervals duration is analysed between the first return and the shady signals in two adjacent clock time radiation and at equal durations of the suggested intervals the signals are classified as repeled from the flaw, but at different durations-as noises.
