Abstract

The invention relates to the wind engineering and can be used for wind power conversion into electric power.The wind-driven electric plant comprises a vertical axle (1), rigidly fixed into the ground and vertical blades consisting of rectangular shutters, fixed at an angle of 120° about each other on upper (2) and lower (3) bars, immovably installed by radial bearings on the axle (1). Each blade bears against two rubber-covered wheels (6, 7) coming in contact with concrete annular tracks. The far-off the axle wheels are kinematically joined with the shafts (9) of direct-current generators (10). The windmill can be equipped with a centrifugal device for prevention of its destruction in case of extremal wind speeds.
