Abstract

The invention relates to the micribiology, particularly to the method for cianocobalamine determination into the propyonic acid bacteria biomass including the cianocobalamine extraction from the biomass aqueous suspension at heating in presence of KCN, separation of liquid phase by centrifugation, stabilization thereof with the subsequent determination of cianocobalamine by means of spectrophotometry, characterised by the fact that the cianocobalamine extraction is realized at pH=6-7, the liquid phase stabilization after centirifugation is provided at pH=8,5-10 in the dark during 1 hour, and the cianocobalamine amount is determined by calculation according to the formula:, whereinC - is the cianocobalamine content, %D540 - the optical density at the wave length of 540 nm,D498 - the optical density at the wave length of 498 nm,D582 - the optical density at the wave length of 582 nm,L - is the cuvette width.The technical result of the method consists in the simplification and decreasing of the cianocobalamine amount determination time, and increasing at the expense of this the pression and reproductibility of the method.
