Abstract

The tobacco variety (Nicotiana tabacum L.) with resistered denomination Moldavschii 272 was obtained by individual selection from hybride population of interspecies crossing of the varieties (Peremojetsch 83 × Immunnii 580) on double saturation with Crupnolistnii 3 variety.The variety is zoned cultivated in the Republic of Moldova.The variety is midripenes with a growing period from plantation till maturity of the last crop leaves of 110-138 days.It is a wind resistant variety, having a complex soil resistant to bronzetop of tomato and potato's Y-virus and in the plant growth period black root and stem rot. The crop harvest of dried leaves is 37 c/ha, the yield of commercial quality product is 89%, sugar - 0,43, the degustation rank - 37,5, the content of nicotine in leaves - 0,5-1,35%.
