Abstract

The invention relates to methods of photography, namely to the automatic optimal illumination of the photographed object with built-in the camera and slave electronic flashes. The method for automatically providing the optimal illumination of the photographed object includes the visual determination of the fractional K factor of the ratio of pulse energies of the built-in and slave electronic flashes, depending on the aesthetic problems, photography features and specific properties of the built-in and slave electronic flashes, adjustment on the slave electronic flash of the K factor value, generation of light pulse of the built-in electronic flash, measurement of illumination of the photographed object by means of a photodetector, located on the slave electronic flash, determination of measured signal energy and its multiplication by K factor, generation of light pulse by the slave electronic flash with the calculated energy value, at the same time both light pulses are generated sequentially with a minimum time delay in the process of a single exposure.
