Abstract
The invention relates to mechanical engineering, namely to processes for forming a fuel charge in a two-stroke internal combustion engine and to two-stroke internal combustion engines for their implementation, and can be used in the design of multi-fuel engines with controlled air-fuel mixture compression ratio. The process, according to the invention, consists in that exhaust gases are removed when the piston (2) moves from the bottom dead point (BDP) to 2/3 of its full stroke in two stages: in the first stage, when the piston (2) moves from the BDP up to 1/3 of its full stroke, the exhaust gases are removed from the cylinder (1) due to the pressure created by the movement of the piston (2), and in the second stage, in the space of the cylinder (1), above the piston (2), is pumped compressed air with the continuous removal of the exhaust gases, and after the movement of the piston (2) from the BDP to 2/3 of its full stroke, is interrupted the removal of the exhaust gases with the continuous pumping of the compressed air, wherein atomized fuel is supplied, forming a fuel-air mixture, which is further compressed when the piston (2) approaches the top dead point (TDP) with subsequent inflammation thereof. The engine, according to the invention, comprises a cylinder (1) with a piston (2), a crankshaft (4) with a connecting rod (3), a pressure chamber (5) with a fuel injector (6), an intake valve (7), an exhaust port (8) with a valve (9) and a spark plug (10). The chamber (5) is connected to a compressor, equipped with a control system.
