Abstract

The invention relates to biotechnology, namely to a method for quantification of Nostoc flagelliforme alga biomass.The method, according to the invention, involves sampling, separation of biomass from the liquid medium, mixing of biomass with distilled water in a ratio of 1:60, microwave treatment at a power of 600 W for 5 minutes, measurement with the help of a spectrophotometer of the absorbance at a wavelength of 682 nm and quantification of biomass, using the calibration curve.
