Abstract

The invention relates to railway beacons and to processes for manufacturing thereof.The railway beacon includes a casing (3), supporting at least an electronic circuit (4), which receives an electromagnetic enabling signal from a vehicle traveling along a railway line and generates a coded response signal (telegram), transmitted to the vehicle, containing information about the vehicle location and traffic, as well as a receiving antenna (42) and a transmitting antenna (44), both interacting with the electronic circuit (4). The beacon is placed along the railway line. The beacon casing (3) is formed one-piece of electrical insulating material and has at least one sunken seat housing (12a) containing at least a printed circuit board (38) with the electronic circuit (4) and electronic elements (33). The sunken seat housing (12a) with the printed circuit board (38) is filled with an insulating layer of silicone resin (40).
