The invention refers to agriculture, particularly to a nutrient medium for germination of sweet pepper pollen and can be used in the plant selection.The nutrient medium for germination of sweet pepper pollen comprises polyethylene glycol-6000, calcium nitrate, boric acid and extract of steroid glycosides from egg-plant roots obtained by extraction with boiling water, treatment with butanol-1 and concentration, in the following component ratio, g/100 ml of bidistilled water:polyethylene glycol-6000 15,0calcium nitrate��0,015boric acid��0,05extract of steroid glycosides�1,2x10-4à2,5x10-3.The result of the invention consists in increasing the vital capacity of sweet pepper pollen.
