Abstract

The invention relates to a continuous process for water purification from nitrites and may be used in the surface and mine water treatment process at the treatment plants or for individual water-purifying filters.The claimed process includes water filtration through granular activated coal AG-5 and aeration thereof with an airflow of 0,7…0,8 L/hour to 100 g of activated coal.Novelty of the invention consists in that water filtration and aeration is carried out separately. At the same time, it is initially carried out aeration of water, afterwards filtration thereof with an adsorbent layer throughput rate of 50…60 mL/min.
