Abstract

The invention relates to a process for water purification from nitrites and may be used in the surface and mine water treatment process at the treatment plants or for water purification in household conditions.The process consists in the water aeration in the presence of activated coal, at the same time it is used granular activated coal АГ-5, the water aeration is carried out during 120…180 min, with an airflow of 0,7…0,8 L/hour to 100 g of activated coal, and the mass ratio activated coal:water is of 1:(9…10).
