Abstract

The invention relates to a process for the purfication of galvanochemical production sewage waters from ammonium ions.The process for the purification of galvanochemical production sewage waters from ammonium ions includes treatment of water with eluates, containing Mg2+ ions obtained upon regeneration of ion-exchange resins used upon water softening and with spent solutions of alkali degreasing, containing trisodium phosphate at the mass ratio [NH4 +] : [Mg2+] : [PO4 3-] = 1 : (5.2…5.5) : (9.0…9.5) and pH 8.5…10.0. Afterwards the water is treated by electrocoagulation with soluble aluminium electrodes at the anodic current density of 0.2…0.5 A/dm2 and is separated by electroflotation the ammonium-magnesium-phosphate compound complex.
