Abstract
The invention relates to the quince sort (Cydonia oblonga Mill) Iujanka, obtained by hybridization of Campion X Kirovabadskaia sorts, used in the proceding industry and it is zoned in the Republic of Moldova for the Central, South-West and South fruit-production zones. The tree is medium-sized having a broadpyramidal compact crown.The skeleton branches go from the trunk at an acute angle, they are erect, are compactly placed, the ends of the braches are directed up. The fruit formations are seedling and fruit begring branches.It is flowering in the ten-day period of May. The sort is autofertile and the best pollinators are Turunciukskaia and Iantarnaia Moldavi sorts. The frits are uniform having a mass of 430-640 g, the fruit form is oblong, apple-sgaped with a plane surface. The shin is downy of a light - yellow color. The pulp is cream-coloured, dense, tender, aromatic. The fruits comprise 10,19% of dry substances, 7,38% of sugars, 0,47% of titrated acids, 149,6 mg% of trannage and colorants, 1-7 mg% of vitamin C. The degustation value is of 4,4 - 4,5 numbers. The trees come into bearing on the 3 year after crop capacity is of 50-55 kg from a tree or 30,0 - 35,0 t/ha, ripen in the 2 - 3rd ten day periods of september.
