Abstract

The invention relates to galvanostegy, in particular to the electrolytic deposition of iron platings.The process for obtaining iron electroplates includes the electrolyte treatment, degreasing and anodic preparation of the electrode surface and deposition of plating onto the cathode. Novelty consists in that the electrolyte contains ferrous chloride, hydrochloric acid and hydrazine, and the electrolyte treatment and the anodic preparation of the electrode surface are carried out under the action of ultra-violet radiation.
