Abstract

The pear-tree sort (Pirus communis L.) Vâstavocinaia is obtained by crossing of Triumf de Vienne X Olivier de serres sorts destined for fruits used fresh and zoned in the Republic of Moldova for all fruit - production zones. The trr is medium - sized having a pyramidal crown. The skeleton branches form together with the trunk a big angle. The fruit formations are uniformly placed on the full crown. The trees are fearing fruits annually and abundant. The fruits are big having an average weight of 250-280 g. The skin is plain, light - green during the pickling maturuty period and yellow during the consumption maturuty period. On separate fruits it is observed a frebly - orange colour.The pulp is cream white - coloured succulent, oily, sweet and sharp having a pleasant is from 4 to 20th of october. The fruits are well-storable ibn the refrigerator during 2-3 months.The sort can br well - combined with the quince. The trees come into bearing after 5-6 years of planting. On the 7th yeas are bearing a crop of fruits of 20-38 kg. The sort is autofertile. It is flowering in average terms. The best pollinators are the Beurre Bosc, Bronzovaia sorts.
