Abstract

The invention relates to simple 1-benzyl-3-oximethylindazole ethers with the formula I:A-CH2-OCRR1-COORIII Iwhere A represents 1-benzylindazole-3-yl, R or R1 may be similar or different and may represent CI-C2-alkyl, RIII represents H or their salts with pharmaceutically acceptable bases. The method is remarcable by the fact that the compounds with the formula II a:A-CH2-Ywhere Y represents OH, are submitted to the influence of ketone with the formula RCORI, where R and R1 have the above-mentioned meaning and chloroform in the presence of alkali metal hydroxide. In case of necesity they obtain acid salt with the formula I with pharmaceutically acceptable bases. The reaction is carried out at the boiling temperature of the reactive mixture and lasts from 30 minutes up to 12 hours. The compounds obtained by this method have an anesthetic activity.
