Abstract

The invention refers to medicine, in particular to anesthesiology and resuscitation and may be used for carrying out the continuous spinal anesthesia to elderly patients.Summary of the invention consists in that the patient is laterally positioned in the Trendelenburg position about 20° with the operating table lifted up in anti-Trendelenburg about 10° for dura mater sprain, then it is chosen a lumbar space under the level L2 parallel to the longitudinal fibers of dura mater, it is marked out the peridural space, it is caudally directed the B.Braun needle of 18 G and it is introduced into the subarachnoid space at a depth of 0,5...2,0 cm from the yellow ligament up to the perforation of dura mater, around the spinal needle it is introduced a catheter of 25 G, afterwards it is removed the needle and it is tested with the help of a syringe the cerebrospinal fluid outflow, then it is introduced a hypobaric lidocaine solution of 1.0...2.0% up to the cumulative dose of 17 mg in several intakes up to the block installation in the zone subjected to the surgical intervention.
