Abstract

The invention relates to the equipment for flow production of fatty acid esters from vegetable oils and may be used in the chemical, food and processing industries.The plant for flow production of fatty acid esters includes a cylindrical body, divided into three coaxial reservoirs (1, 2, 3) with common bottom. The central (3) and the peripheral (1) reservoirs are meant for reception and decantation of the reaction mixture obtained respectively after the first and second transesterification stage. The reservoirs (1) and (3) are equipped with devices for reception (10, 11) and discharge (5, 6) of the obtained esters and with glycerine discharge branch pipes. Between the reservoir (1) and (3) it is placed the reservoir of the heat exchanger (2), wherein there are placed reactors of the first and second transesterification stages (12) and (13), correspondingly. The reactors (12) and (13) are made of several tubes connected in series. Into each tube there are installed centrifugal washers, fixed perpendicular about the tube axis with the help of distance bushings. The ends of the tubes are closed with flanges, wherein there are made threaded holes, by means of which they are joined with the succeeding tube. The oil and methanol feeding branch pipe is joined with an ejector (38) and with a high-lift pump (14). The outlet of the pump (14) is joined with the reactor (12). The outlet of the reactor (12) is joined with the reception device (10) of the central reservoir (3). The device for ester discharge (6) from the reservoir (3) is connected to the reactor (13) by means of the ejector (9) and of a high-lift pump (17). The outlet of the reactor (13) is joined with the reception device (11) of the reservoir (1).
