Abstract

The invention relates to a process and a plant for water purification, in particular underground waters, from sulphureted hydrogen, organosulphuric compounds, sulphurous bacteria and may be applied at industrial enterprises or water-treatment plants. The process for underground water purification from sulphureted hydrogen includes pulverization of water and oxidation of sulphureted hydrogen in counterflow of bubbled air. At the same time, it is used ionized air, saturated with ozone obtained by means of action upon the air flow of the electric discharges generated by multiple short circuits between metal particles of soft magnetic material in a constant electric field at a cathodic density of 1,0…1,5 A/dm2 and a tension of 40,0…60,0 V and simultaneous action of a rotary electromagnetic field at a magnetic induction variation in the range of 0,05…0,10 T, with a consumption of ionized air of 2…3 m3 per 1000 mg of sulphureted hydrogen. The plant for underground water purification from sulphureted hydrogen consists of a reactor column (1) with nozzle (4), a pulverization system (2), a bubbler (5), an air inlet pipe (10) with fan (11), a water inlet (3) and outlet (7) branch pipe. The air inlet pipe (10) is provided with an air ionizer consisting of a broadened part (12) of the pipe (10), in the lower part of which there is installed a restricting net (13), a cylindrical cathode (14) and a rod anode (15), placed coaxially and connected to a constant-current source (16), the interelectrode space is filled with metal particles (17) of soft magnetic material, and on the outside of the ionizer there is installed a generator of the rotary electromagnetic field (18), connected to an adjustable alternating electric current source (19), at the same time the water outlet branch pipe (7) contains a level control siphon (6).
