Invenţia se referă la industria de producere a sticlei, în special la procedeele de obţinere a masei de sticlă pentru producerea sticlei silico-calco-sodice pentru geam.Procedeul de producere a sticlei include calcularea şi pregătirea şarjei cu înlăturarea impurităţilor feroase din nisipul de cuarţ, încărcarea şi topirea şarjei сu obţinerea masei de sticlă ce include SiO2, Na2O, CaO, Fe2O3, MgO, Al2O3 şiSO3, corectarea compoziţiei masei de sticlă cu compuşi uşor fuzibili ce conţin CaO şi Na2O şi decolorarea ei prin introducerea amestecurilor de oxidanţi şi decoloranţi.Totodată înlăturarea impurităţilor feroase se efectuează prin metoda de separare magnetică, masa de sticlă finală obţinută include componenţii menţionaţi în următorul raport, % masă: Na2O 13,80…14,20, CaO 7,35…7,40, MgO 4,20…4,25, Al2O3 1,60…1,70, SO3 0,35…0,40, Fe2O3 0,17…0,20, SiO2 şi decoloranţi - restul.Decolorarea masei de sticlă se efectuează prin adăugarea unui amestec ce conţine 0,05 kg polirită şi 0,33 kg de ZnO la 100 kg de masă de sticlă.
