Abstract

The invention relates to medicine, namely neurosurgery and orthopedic vertebrology, and can be applied for spinal decompression by posterior approach. The method of posterior medullary decompression consists in the fact that an incision of the skin is made along the medial spinal line in the region of the medullary compression or of the nerve root, the dorsolumbar fascia is incised from the lateral edges of the spinal apophysis, the tissues are removed with the dilator. Then, the transversal and interspinous ligaments are incised transversely, corresponding to the lower level of the affected vertebral segment. Then with the pinching of the bones, the thorny apophysis is cut from the bottom upwards from the vertebral arch, and then at the lower caudal edge of the thorny apophysis with the ligaments, a suture is applied with its lateral displacement and maintained with an instrument or fixed by the adjacent tissues. . It is sectioned with the bones of the vertebral arch, if necessary and the articular apophyses, the necessary manipulations are performed in the vertebral canal until the medullary decompression is obtained, then the spinous apophysis is restored together with the upper and spinal ligaments in the initial position and the sectioned ligaments are sutured. , after which the wound is sutured on the layers with the application of a drain.
