Abstract

The invention relates to a process for neutralization of the sediment containing Berlin blue obtained as a result of wine demetalation. The process, according to the invention, includes the basic treatment of the sediment at mixing, extraction of the soluble ferrocyanides by ionic exchange with 5...10% solution of strongly basic anionite from the group of tertiary amines with the hydrocarbonic radical (C7H15 - C9H19) with addition of 2...3 ml/l of tributyl phosphate, dissolved into an immiscible in water organic solvent, at the same time the extraction is carried out in continuous regime, in countercurrent medium. Afterwards follows the resedimentation of the Berlin blue by treatment of the organic solution with an aqueous solution containing sulphuric acid and ferric sulphate. The result consists in increasing the effectiveness of ferrocyanide extraction. Claims: 2
