Abstract

The invention relates to the shipbuilding. especially to the standing rigging. The purpose of the invention consists in the simplification of the sail equipment control by regulation of the masts and spars curve forming the sail in two planes. The mechanism of the masts and spars (3) curve contains system from 4 pairs of cramps 6, 7; 8, 9; 10, 11 and 13, 14 placed symmetrically on the both sides of the sail (2) and fixed on the masts and spars (3) forming the sail (2). On the free ends of the cramps, excluding the pair 13,14 are installed the blocks with passed rope 12, the ends of which are passed on the both sides of the sail 2 through the above mentioned block and fixed on the cramps 13, 14.During the motion of the yacht, an effort put to one of the limbs of the rope 12 leads to the curve of the masts and spars 3 in the spaces between pairs of cramps. Construction of mechanism of the masts and spars 3 curve provides also automatical lowering the belly at the strengthening of wind and control of the masts and spars curve. The mechanism makes possibility to prevent the sail (2) curve in the low pressure zone.
