Abstract
The invention relates to the shipbuilding especially to the sail equipment of vessels.The purpose of invention consists in the increasing of the sail aerodynamic characteristics by making it profile of wing the aid of forming.The sail equipment contains the mast (1), oval sail (2), formed of mast and spars (3), including 4 pairs of cramps: 6,7; 8,9; 10,11; 12,13 and the rope, each of its limbs is passed in the blucks placed on the free ends of the cramps 6 and 7 on the one of the sail (2) sides.The pairs of cramps placed on the forming windy sail (2) sedge of the masts and spars - 8, 9 and 10, 11 are mobile jointed with former 15 of wing profile of the sail (2) that represent itself a whole flexible body.At the tightening of the rope limb placed in the high pressure zone of the sail (2) it is happened moving forward of former 15 of wing profile of the sail (2) together with curve of the masts and spars (3) which carry the sail (2) in the low pressure zone.This in combination with the masts and spars (3) and flexible shell make to the sail (2) the profile of wing thereby increases its aerodynamic characteristics.
