Abstract

The invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopedics and traumatology, and may be used for surgical treatment of patella fractures to adults.Summary of the method consists in that it is carried out cleaning of the fractured fragments surfaces, reduction of the fragments by application of an U-shaped cerclage of elastic material, which is tightened to a pole. Afterwards, it is carried out the compression of the fragments by application of another eight-shaped cerclage of elastic material, which is fixed with a spiral quilted suture on the patella margin, thereafter the malacotic tissues are sutured.
