Abstract

The invention relates to the treatment of sewage with increased concentrations of organic pollutants by electrochemical methods and may be used in different branches of industry with a view of preventing the release of organic compounds into the environment.The installation for sewage electrochemical treatment from organic impurities contains a frame with cylindrical electrolyzer, placed inside it, including a cathode, made of magnetic material, having in the center a funnel-shaped hole and being joined with a removal distributive pipe-line, and an anode, made of diamagnetic material, between the anode and the cathode being placed some cylindrical bodies of magnetic material, covered with a catalytic layer of polyvalent metal oxides, on the outside of the electrolyzer being placed an inductor of the rotary electromagnetic field, coupled with a three-phase electric variator; filter with inert floating charge; removal distributive pipe-line; filter of spherical magnetic granules, placed into a compaction chamber, on the outside of which is placed a solenoid, connected to the alternating-current source, the compaction chamber being joined in the lower part with a bunker with shut-off valves in the lower and upper part thereof; water supply pipe, connected to an ejection system, placed in the lower part of the electrolyzer; water removal pipe.The result of the invention consists in increasing the degree and rate of destruction of the organic compounds.
