Abstract

Invenţia se referă la medicină, în special la oftalmologie şi poate fi utilizată pentru prognosticul gravităţii retinopatiei diabetice neproliferative cu scop de stabilire a conduitei terapeutice ulterioare.Esenţa invenţiei constă în aceea că cu ajutorul tomografiei coerente optice în regim angio non-contrast se determină densitatea vasculară a retinei, care reprezintă raportul suprafeţei totale al stratului retinei faţă de suprafaţa ei ocupată de vase, în cazul în care densitatea vasculară a retinei este de 40,2…35,1 se prognostichează o gravitate uşoară, în cazul în care este de 35,0...25,6 se prognostichează o gravitate medie şi în cazul în care raportul este de 25,5 şi mai mică se prognostichează o gravitate severă a retinopatiei diabetice neproliferative.
