Abstract
Dispozitivul de măsurare a câmpurilor gravitaţionale include o strună supraconductoare (1) ce se fixează la ambele capete, formând o parte a unui circuit supraconductor închis, cuplat inductiv cu doi solenoizi de inducţie (Ld1, Ld2). Deplasarea strunei ca răspuns la câmpul gravitaţional este sesizată de două convertoare ale fluxului magnetic, fiecare conţinând o bobină de producere a semnalului şi două bobine de măsurare (Lp1, Lp2). Perechea de bobine de măsurare se situează în două plane perpendiculare formând două canale individuale de măsurare. Două braţe ale fiecărui convertor al fluxului se echilibrează astfel încât să transforme amplitudinea oscilaţiilor pentru propriile moduri asimetrice ale strunei în tensiune de ieşire. Tensiunea de ieşire a fiecărui canal se foloseşte pentru a produce distribuţia curentului de reacţie (Iy1, Iy2) paralel, în apropierea imediată a strunei. Ajustând curentul de reacţie, pot fi ajustate timpul de relaxare şi frecvenţa de rezonanţă ale primului mod asimetric al strunei, atunci când modurile simetrice rămân neschimbate, ceea ce perfecţionează sensibilitatea dispozitivului faţă de gradientul gravitaţiei.
