Description

The invention relates to medical technology, in particular to devices for draining infectious processes.

A device for draining infectious processes is known in the form of a tube made of elastic material perforated in the central part. The drainage of infectious processes is performed by applying the perforated portion of the tube to the wound, with the ends of the tube fixed outside the wound [1].

The closest solution is the drainage device for purulent processes, which contains an elastic tube with drainage holes, the diameter of which is 0.1 cm [2].

The disadvantages of these devices are that starting from the second day they function with difficulty, because the holes become clogged with fibrin, pus, etc.

The problem of the invention consists in ensuring stable and efficient drainage of infectious processes.

According to the invention, the device for draining processes contains an elastic tube, one end of which is made with a collar, and in the middle third of the tube, drainage holes are made, the diameter of which is three times larger than the thickness of the tube wall, a rod is placed inside the tube, one end of which is fixed by an elastic plug placed at the end with a collar, with the possibility of sealing with the plug when the rod is pulled during the process of irrigating the wound.

The result of the invention consists in ensuring stable and efficient drainage, as a result of the fact that the drainage holes have a diameter three times greater than the thickness of the tube wall, and the sealing of the elastic plug upon rod traction ensures deep penetration of the medicinal remedy into the infectious process.

The application of the claimed device led to a reduction in the duration of hospitalization by three bed days and constitutes an average of 5...7 days.

The invention is explained by the drawing in the figure, where the device for draining infectious processes contains an elastic tube 1, one end of which is made with a collar 3, and in the middle third of the tube, drainage holes 2 are made, the diameter of which is three times larger than the thickness of the tube wall, inside the tube is placed a rod 4, one end of which is fixed by an elastic plug 5 located at the end with collar 3, with the possibility of sealing with the plug 5 when the rod 4 is pulled during the process of irrigating the wound.

The device works as follows: the infectious process is opened through the aperture and counter-aperture, the elastic tube is inserted into one of these and removed through the other, the ends of the tube are fixed to the edge of the wound, then by moving the rod, the tube is sealed with the elastic plug, then the medicinal remedy is introduced under pressure, after which, by moving the rod, the elastic tube is opened.

Pacientul şi-a aplicat comprese. Example: Patient C., 1946, addressed the CNŞPMU. From the anamnesis it was found that 5 days ago a hyperemia appeared in the right auricular region. The patient applied compresses. Temporarily the condition improved, but after 3…4 days a formation appeared in the right submandibular region, accusing pain, edema, chills, etc. The patient addressed the family doctor who consulted him and sent him to the oncologist, who ruled out the diagnosis of a tumor and sent the patient to the CNŞPMU in the Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery. In order to establish the definitive diagnosis and carry out a complex treatment, the patient was examined clinically and paraclinically, in conclusion the diagnosis of submental dermatogenic adenophlegmon was established. The surgical field was treated with an alcoholic solution, then anesthesia was performed with lidocaine solution, after which the infectious process was drained by making incisions at the extremities of the infectious process, the elastic tube was inserted into the infectious process, then the external ends of the tube were fixed to the skin. After the surgical intervention, a drug treatment and daily dressings followed for 5 days with a satisfactory treatment result. No complications were recorded.
