Abstract
The invention relates to the field of corrosion protection of metals in water and can be used to inhibit corrosion in closed steel pipeline systems.According to the invention, the process for corrosion protection of steel in water consists in separate or joint introduction of adipic acid and α-ketoglutaric acid into the aqueous medium in contact with steel surfaces, respectively, in concentrations of 0.025…0.75 g/L and 0.05…0.75 g/L.The technical result of the invention consists in reducing the corrosion rate up to 40 times.
