Abstract

The invention refers to the electrical engineering and is provided for realization of high power supply with transistors of different use (charging and welding apparatus, cathodic protection stations). The method includes a successive periodical connection of transistors and load current limitation during the overload, wherein at attaining the load current of predetermined limitation level the duration and periodicity of transistors connection is being increased up to values excluding the steady leakage current through these transistors and the supply voltage of the converter is being decreased up to a value which restores after an overload removing the initial values of the duration and transistors connection periodicity. The technical result consists in exclusion of the dynamic overloads and steady leakage currents during transistors commutation. Claims: 1 Fig.: 3
