Abstract

The invention relates to measuring devices and railway transport systems, in particular to the brake cylinder pressure control devices, and can be used in the study of brake systems of the railway rolling stock, in particular freight cars.The device, according to the invention, comprises a body with an inlet nozzle, a piston chamber, a spring-pressed piston, is additionally equipped with indicating pistons of the empty and loaded modes, spring-pressed and placed in the corresponding chambers of the body, each chamber is connected by a channel to the piston chamber, and the points of chamber channels connection to the piston chamber are made at different levels, while the piston chinside the chamber therein.The technical result of the proposed invention consists in providing the possibility of visually estimating the operability of the car braking equipment in terms of providing the effectiveness of its braking (both in the loaded and empty mode) by determining the presence in the brake cylinder of the minimum compressed air pressure, required to provide the standardized braking distances, as well as in increasing the reliability and veracity of the car braking equipment operability.
