Abstract
The invention relates to the installations for wind - to - mechanical energy conversion, which may be used for the electrical energy production.The rotor - type windmill with vertical shaft (1) comprises several arc-forming blades (2), each one is made in the form of a frame (3), fixed to one side of the shaft (1). The frame contains a number of cross-members (4) and vertical bars (5). To each bar (5), along the frame full length at its concave side, are hingely fixed with one side flexible sails (6) made for example of canvas or other similar material, forming a canvas curvilinear blade which is faced into the wind with the concave side.The proposed windmill has a simple structure and efficient maintenance.
