Abstract
La présente invention se rapporte à un guide d'ondes optique qui comprend une couche de revêtement composée d'un verre de grande pureté, ou une couche de revêtement composée d'un verre de grande pureté modifié par une proportion d'isotopes, le noyau du verre de grande pureté modifié par une proportion d'isotopes présentant un indice de réfraction qui est supérieur à l'indice de réfraction du verre de parement, ledit matériau de noyau du verre de grande pureté modifié par une proportion d'isotopes comprenant une proportion d'isotopes de si-29 qui fait au maximum 4,447 % du si-29 (atome/atome) de tous les atomes de silicium présents dans ledit noyau, ou au moins 4,90 % des atomes du si-29 (atome/atome) dans ledit noyau, ou comprenant une proportion d'isotopes de ge-73 qui fait au maximum 7,2 % du ge-73 (atome/atome) de tous les atomes de germanium présents dans ledit noyau, ou au moins 8,18 % du ge-73 (atome/atome) des atomes de germanium présents dans ladite région du noyau.
