Abstract
Une centrale électrique pour la production d'énergie électrique ayant un système (1) destiné à traiter les gaz issus d'une combustion de combustibles fossiles comprend, selon l'invention, un compresseur adiabatique (5) pour une première compression basse pression des gaz de combustion, un second système de compression de gaz de combustion basse pression et à étages multiples (14), et un système de compression de co2 haute pression (15), le système de compression de gaz de combustion basse pression et les systèmes de compression de co2 haute pression étant tous les deux combinés dans une seule machine (c2) et disposés sur un arbre commun (16) entraîné par une roue menante commune (17). Un échangeur de chaleur (8) facilite l'amélioration de la récupération de chaleur obtenue par le refroidissement des gaz de combustion ayant subi une compression adiabatique. L'invention permet d'améliorer le facteur de puissance total d'une centrale électrique intégrée avec ce système de traitement et de réduire les coûts d'investissement.
