Abstract
L'invention concerne l'activation, le raffinage et la stabilisation de schistes bitumineux. La stabilisation peut être effectuée par extraction à recyclage; l'activation par irradiation électromagnétique, par vapeur, ou par une base inorganique; et le raffinage par irradiation par faisceau ionique. Lesdits schistes bitumineux ainsi traités peuvent être utilisés pour adsorber des contaminants organiques et inorganiques à partir de divers matériaux, notamment des matériaux d'origine végétale.
