Abstract

The invention relates to a safety marking (2,3; 5-7, 9) having a superficial color application (2, 3) containing iridescent pigments, wherein the color of said marking changes when the viewing angle is changed. Increased anti-forgery safety is achieved in said marking in that an additional safety element (5-7, 9) that is particularly variable optically is arranged in an at least partially overlapping area or in an area that substantially borders directly with the color application (2, 3).
