Abstract
Une méthode de contrôle de la transmission de signaux dans un système de communications utilise un élément déclencheur d'interrogation qui évite qu'une condition d'interblocage se produise entre un émetteur et un récepteur. La méthode inclut les phases suivantes qui consistent à : - sélectionner une unité de données de protocole dans un étage séparateur, - déterminer si l'unité de données est localisée dans une position prédéterminée à l'intérieur d'une fenêtre de transmission; et - transmettre une information d'interrogation avec l'unité de données si l'unité de données est déterminée comme étant dans la position prédéterminée de la fenêtre de transmission. La position prédéterminée est préférentiellement la dernière position de la fenêtre. Si l'unité de données n'est pas la dernière position de la fenêtre de transmission, les étapes additionnelles de la méthode inclut une étape consistant à déterminer si l'unité de données est une unité de données stockées pour la dernière fois dans un étage séparateur de transmission. Si c'est le cas, l'information d'interrogation est transférée avec l'unité de données. Si aucun élément déclencheur d'interrogation n'est satisfait, l'unité de données est transmise sans l'information d'interrogation. La méthode peut être au moins partiellement réalisée à l'intérieur d'une couche contrôle d'interface radio de l'émetteur fonctionnant en mode d'accusé de réception. Un terminal utilisateur ou un dispositif du réseau peut inclure un programme ordinateur destiné à réaliser les étapes de l'invention. Par contrôle de la transmission de l'information d'interrogation basée sur les éléments déclencheur d'interrogation mentionnés précédemment, l'interblocage est avantageusement évitée. De cette façon, l'efficacité et la fiabilité des communications peut s'améliorer substantiellement.
