Abstract

The invention relates to the manufacture of cylindrical permanent magnets of large size and volume magnetized perpendicular to their longitudinal axis.According to the proposed technique for manufacturing magnetic dipoles of large diameter and volume from small-sized permanent magnets, the total cross-sectional area of the magnetic system is assembled from separate elements of permanent magnets, in addition, the cross-section of the cylindrical dipole is divided into separate parts and assembled in the form of a combination of arbitrary shaped elements located symmetrically with respect to the axes of symmetry of the cylinder's cross-section and in general form the necessary configuration of the total cross-section of the cylindrical dipole; then each element is oriented so that its magnetization is directed in the required direction and assembled into a common enclosure by fixing them together with fastening means. In addition, the individual elements of the permanent magnet in one enclosure can be divided into equal parts by a transverse wall placed in the direction of its diameter and made of non-magnetic material. In addition, each cover can be equipped with a centering element placed parallel to the common longitudinal axis of the dipole.
