Abstract

The present invention relates to the industry of building materials and binding agents and is intended for the production of high-strength alpha-hemihidrate and alpha-anhydrate gypsum binders. The arrangement offered for hydrothermal treatment and dehumidification of gypsum rock comprises a cylindrical horizontal working chamber-autoclave (1) provided with a system for supply of a hot heat-transfer agent, a vacuum receiver (41) connected with working chamber (1) and vacuum-pump (42), gas distributing manifolds, fast acting pressure/vacuum gate valves (11, 13, 15, 17). In conformity with the present invention, the arrangement comprises an even number of segment-type gas-distributing sections (3) arranged symmetrically relative to the vertical axis of working chamber and separated one from another with an impermeable vertical partition (4). Vertical rectangular walls (5), separating the gas-distributing sections (3) from the working volume of the working chamber (1), have perforations with flow area of gas windows or number thereof increasing from the top of the wall downward, each gas-distributing section (3) being connected to a gas-feed tube (6) with an adjustable gas valve (7), all the gas-feed tubes (6) being connected to symmetrical gas-distributing pipes (8) by help of two adjustable gas valves (9). The gas-distributing pipes (8) are connected, at the middle of their length, to the connecting branch pipes (10) by help of fast-acting pressure/vacuum gate valves (11). The branch pipes (10) are connected to symmetrical main gas pipes (24) connected to a gas-directing circuit (efgh), which is connected to a gas preparing apparatus (ilkm).
