Abstract

It is made up of a trough (1) and a lid (2) inserted into the trough, this lid comprising a number of sachets made of a mesh fabric (4) containing a dehydrating agent in flake form. In the lower part, these sachets (4) comprise a skirt (4b) which has the effect of delaying the fall of drops of aqueous solution before they fall into the trough. A grid (3) further retains the drops of brine after they have separated from the skirt and an electrical resistance (6) arranged in the upper part of the apparatus creates a convection current to produce a slow circulation of the air to be dried. <IMAGE>
