Description

LANTERN-SHAPED FOLDABLE SEPIA ESCULENTA SPAWNING REEF LU103092
TECHNICAL FIELD
[01] The present invention relates to the technical field of artificial fish reefs, in particular to a lantern-shaped foldable Sepia esculenta spawning reef.
BACKGROUND ART
[02] Sepia esculenta, also known as cuttlefish and mullet, belongs to Cephalopoda,
Sepioidea and sepiidae, and is a eurythermic migratory species. Sepia esculenta likes to spawn near islands with water depth of 5-10 m, high salinity, clear water and slow flow, hard bottom material and dense algae and many reefs. When spawning, Sepia esculenta has sand spraying and burrowing habits, and parents die one after another after reproduction. Sepia esculenta is widely distributed in the Far East China Sea of Russia,
Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu of Japan, the west coast and south coast of North Korea and the Philippine Islands. In China, Sepia esculenta is mainly distributed in
Lanshantou, Rizhao, Shandong, Qingdao and the central and northern parts of the
Huanghai Sea. Sepia esculenta has a short life cycle, rapid generation renewal and rapid growth, is an excellent species with high economic value and was once one of the four major marine fisheries in China.
[03] Since the 1980s, the Sepia esculenta has been faced with the double pressures of overfishing and habitat destruction, and the environment and production order of its spawning grounds and proliferation reserves have also been threatened, and its resource regeneration ability has decreased significantly. The sea areas around Shandong
Province are important spawning grounds for Sepia esculenta, which was included in the local resource proliferation plan of Shandong Province in 1992. At present, there are two ways for Sepia esculenta to proliferate. One way is to use traditional spawning base
Tamarix chinensis or Artemisia annua, which is cheap but cannot be reused, and the number of Tamarix chinensis and Artemisia annua is obviously reduced due to continuous logging, causing great damage to terrestrial vegetation, the other is a semi-artificial proliferation and protection way, that is, the squid cages attached with fertilized eggs of Sepia esculenta are collected and intensively put into a certain sea area to hatch naturally for proliferation and protection management. The semi-artificial proliferation and protection is used to perform the proliferation and release of Sepia esculenta in coastal area, Rizhao, Shandong Province, and good economic benefits are obtained.
[04] Although the effect of using squid cages as spawning bases is still good, the squid cages themselves aim at fishing, are likely to damage the spawning parents and do not adapt to the habit of multiple spawning of Sepia esculenta, which affects the spawning amount of Sepia esculenta. Moreover, the manufacture of squid cages is complicated, and the cost is high, which are not suitable for large-scale proliferation of
Sepia esculenta.
[05] Patent with patent number of CN 104054612 A discloses a cross-shaped foldable Sepia esculenta spawning reef, which is easy to assemble and disassemble.
However, defects thereof are that the angle of an attachment space for fish spawning is 1 single, which is limited to perpendicular attachment for spawning, and the degree of LU103092 assembly and disassembly is low, and a space utilization rate is not high.
