본 발명은 차량용 엔진의 소정부위를 이루는 복합구조식 실린더블럭에 관한 것으로, 일반적으로 차량용 엔진을 이루는 실린더블럭(6)의 강도를 보강함은 물론 냉각효과도 좀더 높일 수 있도록 하고자 하는 경우에 상기 실린더블럭(6)의 냉각수통로(8)가 오픈식 또는 클로우즈식으로 획일되게 구비되어 있음으로 인해 차량용 엔진의 작동시 상기 실린더블럭(6)이 심하게 떨리게됨과 더불어 냉각효과도 떨어지게 되는 문제점을 해소하기 위하여, 차량용 엔진을 이루는 실린더블럭(6)의 소정부위에 구비되는 오픈식 또는 클로우즈식 냉각수통로(8)를 대신하여 상기 실린더블럭(6)의 소정부위에 소정형상의 복합구조식 냉각식통로(9)가 구비되되, 상기 복하구조식 냉각수통로(9)는 상기 실린더블럭(6)의 일측 소정부위에 동일체로 형성되는 격벽(10)을 사이로 하여 상측에 오픈형 냉각수통로(11)가 형성되고 하측에는 클로우즈형 냉각수통로(12)가 형성됨으로써 차량용 엔진을 이루는 실린더블럭(6)의 강도가 좀더 보강될 수 있게 됨은 물론 냉각효과도 높아질 수 있게 되는 효과가 있다.The present invention relates to a composite cylinder block forming a predetermined portion of a vehicle engine, and in general, the cylinder block to enhance the strength of the cylinder block (6) constituting the vehicle engine as well as to further increase the cooling effect.
