본 발명은 주행중인 자동차를 정속으로 유지시킬 수 있도록 하는 자동악셀페달장치에 관한 것으로, 종래에는 정속으로 자동차를 운행할 때에도 운전자가 악셀페달을 일정한 압력으로 계속 밟아서 주행속도를 일정하게 유지하였기 때문에 장시간 운전하는 경우 운전자의 피로가 많게 되는 문제가 있었던 바, 악셀케이블(1)을 통해 드로틀밸브(2)와 연결되는 악셀페달(3)의 회동을 지지하는 지지브라켓트(4)의 선단부에 감지스위치(5)를 설치하고, 이 감지스위치(5)를 엔진콘트롤유니트(ECU:Engine Control Unit)에 접속하는 한편, 트로틀밸브(2)의 회동축(2a)을 연장하여 그 연장부(6)에 멈춤기어(7)를 설치하고, 멈춤기어(7)의 하부에 승강이 자유로운 멈춤키(9)를 갖는 오퍼레이터(8)를 설치하여 악셀페달(3)이 일정한 압력으로 일정시간만큼 눌려져 있음이 감지스위치(5)를 통해 감지될 때에 오퍼레이터(8)를 작동시켜 멈춤키(9)로 하여금 멈춤기어(7) 및 그와 연동하는 드로틀밸브(2)를 일정한 위치에서 정지 시킬 수 있도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 본 발명에 의하면 악셀페달(3)을 일정한 답력으로 일정시간동안 밟게 되면 드로틀밸브(2)의 위치가 고정되어 운전자가 악셀페달(3)에서 발을 떼게 되더라도 자동차의 정속으로 주행시킬 수 있게 되므로 고속도로나 교통이 원활한 도로에서 장시간 운전을 할 때에 운전자의 피로도를 현저하게 저감시킬 수 있다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
