본 발명은 텔레비젼 수상기의 PIP 기능 수행중 주부화면 절환방법에 관한 것으로 종래에는 텔레비젼 수상기로 두 채널의 방송신호를 수신하여 시청하면, 주화면으로 출력되는 방송채널의 방송신호의 음성신호는 텔레비젼 수상기의 메인 스피커로 출력되지만 부화면으로 출력되는 방송채널의 방송신호의 음성신호는 에어폰이나 기타 출력장치로 출력되기 때문에 텔레비젼 수상기의 PIP 기능을 이용하여 두 채널의 방송 신호를 시청하는 경우 주화면으로 출력되는 방송신호는 영상과 음성을 동시에 확인할 수 있지만 부화면으로 출력되는 채널의 방송신호는 영상 신호가 작은 화면을 통하여 출력되고 음성신호가 에어폰이나 기타 출력 장치를 통하여 출력되기 때문에 부화면으로 출력되는 채널의 방송신호를 확실하게 확인하지 못하는 결점을 가지고 있었다. 본 발명은 텔레비전 수상기가 PIP 기능을 수행하는 주에 채널 절환을 위한 키가 입력되는가를 판단하여 채널이 절환되면 절환된 채널의 방송신호가 주화면 혹은 부화면의 채널인가를 판단하여 해당 화면의 방송신호 채널을 절환하여 출력하고, 일정시간이 경과하도록 채널 절환키가 입력되지 않으면 주부화면으로 출력되는 방송신호의 채널을 절환 선국하여 주화면으로 출력함으로서, PIP기능을 이용하여 두 채널을 방송신호를 시청하는 중에 부화면으로 출력되는 방송신호의 영상과 음성을 일정시간 간격마다 주화면과 주음성으로 시청할 수 있는 것이다.The present invention relates to a housewife screen switching method while performing a PIP function of a television receiver.
